La fausse blonde vénitienne, surstylisée, poupée de porcelaine, reptilienne : sa silhouette popart, modern, antonienne nipée rock 2010, avec une robe UNIQUE, elle s’est à peine présentée.
« Je me suis dit : trop bourge, trop… contemporaine, trop étherée… Trop. Mais j’étais Scotchée . Parfaite pour mon prochain film de névrosés bourgeois. »
Elle a refusé d’exécuter la rubrique « danse » du casting. Elle est restée plantée au milieu du bureau, figée, candide et vénéneuse, timide, hautaine, éléctrique et délicate, arrogante, fuyante, . Elle a envahi l’espace. J’ai pas eu besoin de regarder Eric.
Au bout de 10 minutes, parfaitement immobile ; elle a dit « c’est pas pour moi. »
Je lui ai dit : j’adore ta robe. Elle m’a dit sans se retourner: « c’est moi qui l’ai dessinée »
Eric m’a dit : « Elle déchire à l’image. Je lui ai dit : « oui mais si elle a pas envie…on va pas se prendre la tête ».
Une semaine plus tard, sa mère a appelé Dania mon assistante pour lui demander si c’était possible de lui redonner une chance, qu’elle avait été terrassée par le trac mais qu’elle voulait passer ce casting.
Elle a redébarqué avec sa cousine. Elle était brune avec une frange. On a pris le temps : je lui ai parlé longtemps ; elle a maitrisé son trac. Alors que je voyais des 10 aines de filles, avec le même dispositif présentation&impro&danse : l’humiliation ; le mensonge. L’immense majorité en faisait des caisses pendant l’impro.
Sara était tout en retenue. Très… Très froide.

Socco Chica : In your facebook status, as a young tangerian, the word that comes back very often is "bored" (i didn't know of course but leila told me ) : can you tell us more about boredom when you are 20 years old in Tanger ?
Sarah Betioui : Well as a tangerian girl the boredom for me was like a usual feeling, serieusly, 20 years old, no friends, nobody care about what you doing or thinking, even if you tried to impress some people they look at u as a insane person with no respect, no matter what how u feel it’s was hurting and annoying most of time especially my familly they don’t understand at all .i’m a lonely girl my parent are divorced so u can see what i’ve been throug, i have no brothers or sisters so it’s was difficult to not feel bored.
S. C. : do you think that if you moved out somewhere else your boredom would stay here, in Tanger ?
S. B. : Maybe who knows ?? but i think the boredom will not go for good it’s a normal feeling stay with us wherever we go it’s not a thing to run off. The only way to keep it away it’s to make some change in our lifes by doing what we love most.
S. C. : Provided that you are a budding actress and stylist, were you driven by boredom when you went to the casting during summer 2010?
S. B. : Hahah i wasn’t bored at all that time i was just supporting a familly member who bring the idea of going to a casting and try something new even just for fun, but what happend it’s a little bit surprised because i never did something like this before and i had almost a hard attack cuz i was shy and afraid a little bit and i wish to not be choosing till they say u just need to take control of ur stress and everything will be fine so i guess it’s my destiny to be part of that movie.
S. C. : did you have time to be bored during the shooting of the film ?
S. B. : I don’t think so, sometimes was a little bit difficult not boring because we had a looooot of fun and great moment to remember...
S. C. : do you think your character, a young textile worker, has time to be bored?
S. B. : As my character, she felt bored and sick of the whole situation that’s why u can see her boredom in the way she choose to live.
S. C. : in a word, there's not a single teenager like the other, but what we all share the best would be a jaded sense of monotony ?
S. C. : does lassitude make you go on further ?
S. B. : Of corse, it’s make me wishing to prove the strength of my will to became the person that i always wanted to be
